September 22, 2013 - Diamondbacks at Rockies
High-scoring and largely irrelevant game featured 4 RBIs from Todd Helton (including his 1,400th), for the last Sunday home game of the year. All photos copyright Getty Images 2013.

September 1, 2013 - Reds at Rockies
Helton would collect his 2,500th hit on a seventh inning double - the moment everyone in the stadium was waiting for - and I would be both unlucky and not great in execution. The hit went for a stretched double, and I was looking for a single or a homerun and I sat at first base - and he went opposite-field, when I was looking for him to pull. I think Helton was glad the hit came in a victory, and right after his teammate Michael Cuddyer led off the inning with a homerun. Photos copyright Getty Images 2013.

August 31, 2013 - Reds at Rockies
My edit for this game reflects the many failures on the night. Todd Helton would go 0-4 with three strikeouts and sit on 2,499 career hits for another day, Juan Nicasio would give up 6 earned runs in 4 1/3 innings on seven hits and three walks, and the Reds would beat the Rockies 8-3 behind a strong outing by former Rockie Greg Reynolds, who has never had a good start at Coors Field before. August 30, 2013 - Reds at Rockies
Todd Helton went 2-4 with two three-run homeruns for his 2,498th and 2,499th career hits, but couldn't pull off a three-homerun night despite a two-on chance in the ninth. The Rockies beat up on the Reds in this first game of three, 9-6. Photos copyright Getty Images 2013.

August 26, 2013 - Giants at Rockies
Juan Nicasio pitched like an ace for six innings and escaped a rainy jam in the sixth before being relieved. The Rockies played a full nine innings despite a late rain delay, taking the game from the Giants, 6-1. Photos copyright Getty Images 2013.

May 8, 2013 - Yankees at Rockies
The mighty Yankees coming to town, lacking most of the star power, and still give the crowd a show. We saw Mariano Rivera, we saw Ichiro, we saw a bad call at first base lead to a Yankees win, and we saw Vernon Wells play third base for the first time as a professional. April 6, 2013 - Padres at Rockies
The Rockies rolled through their home-opening-weekend against the Padres and I was called to capture it. The game went fine for the Rockies and for me, with most of the props due to my new camera body that just nails focus for me, making my job easy (first time I've had one that works this well.). April 28, 2012 - Mets at Rockies
Rockies lose to the Mets in my first game back at Coors for the 2012 season. Made some decent frames of the home team but was disappointed in my coverage of the visiting team. Definitely glad to be at the park though.

August 15, 2011 - Marlins at Rockies
Jason Giambi sends the 3rd pitch he sees well clear of the right field wall.
And since it's the bottom of the 9th inning, he gets a warm reception at home plate.

July 14, 2011 - Brewers at Rockies
Sunsets came a little early this year. I don't usually look for them until August.
