July 1, 2012 - Padres at Rockies

Drew Pomeranz is called up and goes six solid innings giving up one run on two hits and three walks, yet the Rockies lose the rubber match to the San Diego Padres. Rockies hitters put up a goose egg despite nine baserunners on a hot and bright afternoon, against the surprisingly good performance by former Rockie Kip Wells. All photos copyright Getty Images.
