September 4, 2013 - Dodgers at Rockies

For me, this game was significant since it marked the first time I have ever seen a player escape a pickle (middle picture above) which Josh Rutledge did when he escaped the tag of Juan Uribe of the Dodgers. The Rockies would put up a solid performance to back Jorge De la Rosa for his 16th win of the season, and the Dodgers would walk away with 2 of the 3 game series en route to their likely division win. I took three "new" pictures of the most popular Rockie of all time. Otherwise a ho-hum win for the currently 11-3 Rockies.

I feel like catching up on some old games. I can't catch them all up, but I have to throw this one out there - my first MLB game. This was right after the Rockies' amazing 2007 run to the World Series, so there was still a lot of optimism for the guys in purple pinstripes.

September 28, 2010 - Dodgers at Rockies

Rockies were eliminated with a disappointing loss to the Dodgers. Rookie infielder Chris Nelson made a nice play on the infield.




Tulowitzki struck out to end the Rockies' playoff hopes. 4 games left to play, none of any consequence.

August 28, 2010 - Dodgers at Rockies

Home plate umpire Marty Foster ejects the pitcher Ronald Belisario, as catcher Rod Barajas pleads his case.


Ramirez put on a little show for me, despite appearing only as a pinch hitter and striking out. The next day, he would be ejected after one pitch for his last at bat as a Dodger.

August 27, 2010 - Dodgers at Rockies

Even if the Rockies were in the game up to that point, Casey Blake's 8th inning slam shut the door on the home team.


Former Rockie Scott Podsednik scrambles back to the bag. He's had decent success with the White Sox, Royals and Dodgers after kind of sucking with the Rockies back in 2008.
