For me, this game was significant since it marked the first time I have ever seen a player escape a pickle (middle picture above) which Josh Rutledge did when he escaped the tag of Juan Uribe of the Dodgers. The Rockies would put up a solid performance to back Jorge De la Rosa for his 16th win of the season, and the Dodgers would walk away with 2 of the 3 game series en route to their likely division win.
