June 19, 2011 - Tigers at Rockies

Miggy had this pitch spotted early and he sent it to the right field mezzanine.

Colorado Rockies relief pitcher Rex Brothers (49) attempts to lay a tag on Detroit Tigers right fielder Brennan Boesch (26) who knocked the ball loose with his cleat, injuring the arm of Brothers, during a regular season interleage game between the Detroit Tigers and the Colorado Tigers beat the Rockies 9-1.

June 18, 2011 - Tigers at Rockies

Detroit Tigers shortstop Jhonny Peralta (27) slides into Colorado Rockies catcher Chris Iannetta (20) and is tagged out at the plate.

Colorado Rockies relief pitcher Matt Lindstrom (27) can't quite handle a line drive, but keeps the runners at bay.

Colorado Rockies bench coach Tom Runnells (11) closely watches a play at home plate where shortstop Troy Tulowitzki (2) threw out Detroit Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera (24) as catcher Chris Iannetta (20) makes the tag and the fans cheer during a regular season interleage game between the Detroit Tigers and the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field in Denver, Colorado. The Rockies beat the Tigers 5-4.

Interleague baseball is definitely fun to shoot. Rockies (and Tigers) fans showed up and filled Coors, which was good to see. This time I like a shot of bench coach Tom Runnels squinting toward a bang bang play at home plate as the fans celebrate a great out. Tulowitzki and Iannetta would connect for outs at home plate twice during the game.

June 1, 2011 - Mexico v New Zealand

This seemed like a very lopsided match, and I covered the wrong end for the first half. Mexic struck first and nothing important happened anywhere near me. The fans were colorful, and the Mexic team was pretty incredible in their 3-0 win over New Zealand.

Homeplate collision between Joe Saunders and Dexter Fowler. Fowler was ruled out...

... and Jim Tracy's arguing over the call got him kicked out.
