December 13, 2010 - Blackhawks at Avalanche

Dan Winnik, who did not get a point on this Duchene goal, definitely helped keep Patrick Sharp from clearing the puck.



Blackhawks winger Jack Skille celebrates a goal in the first period. The game was either tied or a one-goal difference until the empty netter at the end of the third.

November 30, 2010 - Thrashers at Avalanche

The Eastern Conference Thrashers came to town riding a 5-game win streak, and took the Avalanche to OT and took the two points with them.



Byfuglien ties the score at 2 a piece late in the third period.



This green suit guy seemed to have padded his shorts and he was unsuccessful at getting Bernie's attention. Creepster.

November 20, 2010 - Kansas State at Colorado

Rodney "Speedy" Stewart on a 51-yard touchdown run. Whipped the shorter lens around just in time to focus and grab a nice shot.


Senior day, and Jimmy Smith wore a Lei to "honor" the new coach, Brian Cabral.

November 19, 2010 - Rangers at Avalanche

Can't help but like this kid. Two assists and a goal in the 5-1 win over the popular eastern conference team.


Anderson was very good in his return, stopping many shots, giving up only one soft goal.

November 17, 2010 - Sharks at Avalanche

Sharks captain Joe Thornton is upended in the Sharks 4-3 OT loss to the Avalanche.

November 15, 2010 - Blues at Avalanche

The crowd, the team, and Duchene himself were all so happy about Duchene's first NHL fight.

The young superstars joke about the bout after the 6-3 win.

November 14, 2010 - Chiefs at Broncos

Spencer Larson with a nice 14 yard rush for the first down.


I did not get a picture of the snuff. But I noticed Todd Haley was not having a great time along the sidelines. Here, he looks for a reversal of a reversal of what was ruled, after viewing the replay, a nice TD reception.


Tebow was used for two red zone plays, resulting in two touchdowns. I saw them but the shots weren't very good. Here he fights for a first down, and was successful.

November 13, 2010 - Iowa State at Colorado

Iowa State had about one impressive drive, after their starting quarterback limped off the field with an apparent leg injury. Here a receiver acts like he is breaking a tackle before he falls down.

Starting QB Austen Arnaud got the benefit of a "forward progress" call before losing the football in a play that wuld have resulted in 7 points against.

November 4, 2010 - Canucks at Avalanche

A Sedin skated around for a while with no helmet. Daniel, in a 3-1 win over the Av's.

October 30, 2010 - Blue Jackets at Avalanche

Duchene looks for a wraparound.

October 23, 2010 - Kings at Avalanche

New guys on the team to make pictures of, like Jonas Holos, right.



A quick meeting of the referees would send a LA Kings player to the box for a 5-minute major.

October 23, 2010 - Texas Tech at Colorado

Perfect light, near "upset," good fans, but nothing particularly inspiring happened for my lenses. Still a classic fall day at the stadium.

October 9, 2010 - Colorado State at Air Force

Air Force, ranked #25 in the AP poll going into this game - is having a great season. I'd never shot at Falcon Stadium so was a little out of my element, but it worked out. Air Force won easily, and improved to #23 in the poll with the win over the Rams.

October 7, 2010 - Blackhawks at Avalanche

Opening night win for the boys in burgundy and blue. Sakic, Forsberg, and Roy (and the rest of the 1995-1996 Stanley Cup winning Avalanche team) paid a nice visit.

September 28, 2010 - Dodgers at Rockies

Rockies were eliminated with a disappointing loss to the Dodgers. Rookie infielder Chris Nelson made a nice play on the infield.




Tulowitzki struck out to end the Rockies' playoff hopes. 4 games left to play, none of any consequence.

September 24, 2010 - Giants at Rockies

Giants are playoff bound, thanks to these guys. Lincecum and Wilson 2-hit the Rockies and would seal the division win on the last day of the regular season.

September 18, 2010 - Hawaii at Colorado

Perfect light on this early afternoon game. No conference rivalry or any particular players to focus on, but I had a decent game.

September 15, 2010 - Padres at Rockies

At this point, there was a chance. It was fun to watch the boys, you know, try. Go Giants.
