I decided to bring my camera with a 50mm f/1.8 lens and a flash to a friend's wedding, even though I was an invited guest and not an official photographer. My first self-assigned task was to shoot the group who was stuck at the base of the mountain waiting out a thunderstorm, which caused the ceremony to run about an hour late. The photographer they hired took off pretty early and I tried to supplement her coverage, including a fun trip to the base area bar "9280 Taphouse" for the after-party.
