January 9, 2010 - Copper Mountain USASA halfpipe comp

Sweet. So fun to shoot the kind of sports I am passionate about. I wasn't thrilled with my images until I had a look through them, and can honestly say I am pretty happy with the results from my first event. Shooting for a company called VAST action, and I like how they do things. Here's a gallery of my edits - but to purchase any of them, or to see everything, one would have to visit their site at www.vastaction.com.

Gnarly. Favorites in respective order:

The effect of the backdrop of the city is dramatic and breathtaking--as if a slight adjustment would result in the skier's falling off the face of the planet (22, 12). 31 is a triumph over gravity, and 26 is sweet, plain and simple.
