December 19, 2011 - Flyers at Avalanche

For the second time in a week, the Avalanche blew a one-goal lead with less than 30 seconds on the clock, and for the second time in a week, they won in the shootout.

It was sweet to shoot legendary player Jaromir Jagr as he continues to rack up points. He now has well over 1600 points.









Duchene snuck this one past popular goaltender Ilya Bryzgolov.

December 4, 2011 - Red Wings at Avalanche

3rd home win in a row for the Avalanche, against a typically tough Red Wings team that looked sloppy this particular Sunday night.


Ryan O'Reilly had this excellent shot amidst a crowd of Red Wings players and a well-positioned Ty Conklin. GOAL to add to his night where he already had an assist.

Easy 6-1 win for the Avalanche on a Wednesday night.

Canucks goalie Cory Schneider (35) makes a save on his way to shutting out the hapless Avalanche.

Henrik and brother Daniel were stopped during this game, but it didn't matter; the Canucks were way to good for the Avalanche.

November 20, 2011 - Sharks at Avalanche

Sharks goalie Thomas Greiss (1) makes a save.

Patrick Marleau (12) would complete a hat-trick with an empty-net goal in the third period. The Av's should really keep their goalie in the net the whole game.

Running back Tony Jones celebrates a nice TD catch & run. The Buffs would never trail the Wildcats. The final score was 48-29 for the home team.
