Seems the Pacific Northwest likes them some soccer. Sounders brought a pretty decent crowd of superfans.

Caleb Folan, power forward, had a nice chance to tie the game late in the second half, to no avail.

April 16, 2011 - Cubs at Rockies

Starlin Castro hit 4-5 with a three run homerun.

The "cotton eyed joe" song is played during a Cubs pitching change. The team was up 8-3 and these fans didn't take it as a slight to the Cubs at that point. Dancin on the stairs.

Jackie Robinson Day! I should add a reminder to my calendar to avoid this day as a shooter, because despite the great intentions, no one wants to buy images of Troy Tulowitzki wearing #42 on his jersey. Still a fine day at the ballpark.

April 8, 2011 - Stars at Avalanche

Wrapped up the 2010-2011 Hockey season on April 8, a couple of days 'early' as there was still a home game to play, but the team has been pretty uninspring of late. Here's to a productive draft and offseason.

I took three "new" pictures of the most popular Rockie of all time. Otherwise a ho-hum win for the currently 11-3 Rockies.

April 3, 2011 - D.C. United at Rapids

The Rapids are the current MLS champions and on something of a tear this year. I caught their 4-1 win over D.C United on April 3. Here's a few that made the cut.

April 1, 2011 - Opening Day - Diamondbacks at Rockies

Perfect day at the ballpark, besides the 11th inning loss. Cargo and Tulo were awarded their gold gloves and silver sluggers, and the light was fun to play with after months indoors. The game included a nice little collision at home plate between Justin Upton and Chris Iannetta. Rockies are off to a great start despite the loss.

March 31, 2011 - Predators at Avalanche
