August 16-18 2013 - The Solheim Cup
The Solheim Cup is a bi-annual golf tournament between the top professional women golfers from the United States and Europe, with alternating years being played in each locale. The match play and the colorful, noisy crowd make the tournament unique and different from a normal weekend on the tour. The European ladies bested their stateside counterparts all weekend, but the home crowd still seemed to enjoy the event. I woke up early to catch the early rounds of match play, then went on the final afternoon and tried to catch whomever was making the story. Photos Copyright Dustin Bradford/Icon Sports Media.

July 9, 2011 - US Women's Open - Round 2
Weather on Thursday and Friday pushed round 2 of the US Womens Open back to Friday and Saturday. I caught the end of Round 2 before I left for the day - and more weather pushed round three to Sunday morning.

July 7, 2011 - US Women's Open - Round 1
Day one of the US Women's Open was, for me, mostly about getting bearings, trial end error, and finding the right ladies to cover.
