February 22, 2014 - Arizona at Colorado

The Arizona Wildcats rolled into town and proved why they were ranked high as they were all season and going into the tournament. They dominated the Buffs start to finish behind a big night from Nick Johnson.

January 5, 2014 - Oregon at Colorado

The #10 ranked Oregon "fighting" Ducks landed in Boulder and I watched and shot as the Buffs "beat them at their own game" of just running the score up. I enjoy the very few NCAA Basketball Games I end up shooting, probably since I only end up shooting the better opponents, and the Buffs definitely play well against good teams. The loss for the Ducks was the first of the year for them, and the 191 total points scored was by far the most I've ever witnessed at a college game. I was happy with the set I made as well. Thanks for looking.

October 5, 2013 - Oregon at Colorado

Oregon came to town ranked #2 and sported a 28 point spread, and proved why they were ranked as such. The Buffaloes played hard early, but couldn't match the Ducks over 60 minutes.

December 1, 2012 - Rifle v Silver creek - Colorado 3A Football Championship game

I shot the action at the Colorado 3A championship game between Silver Creek High School in Longmont against the Rifle, Colorado team, and, in an odd business decision, the images were never shown to the players or family, onsite nor online, and instead, we simply pushed plaques featuring the winning team with the trophy. No biggie, I still shot the great game in great light with great access and great plays, with great emotion and jubilation to top it off. I couldn't NOT share some of the pictures, and more are available to view here.

November 3, 2012 - Stanford at Colorado

The visiting Stanford fans were unlucky last Saturday, in that the bulk of the Stanford scoring happened on the opposite end of the field from where they are relegated. Unsurprisingly, the Buffaloes took a beating at the hands of the 15th-ranked Cardinal, with a final score of 48-0 (beating the spread of 28 points handily). Last game in Boulder of the year for me, and I enjoyed seeing a few NFL-caliber players perform in this otherwise uninteresting matchup.

October 11, 2012 - Arizona State at Colorado

Colorado came out swinging in the first half, and a 10-point barrage in the closing minute of the first half had the home crowd hopeful... but.... as was expected the Sun Devils were able to amass a 3-TD lead plus more by the time the game was over. A late Colorado injury completely deflated the Colorado defense and the Sun Devils went home with a 51-17 win and likely top-25 rank after this Thursday night game.

September 29, 2012 - UCLA at Colorado

Even if none of the capacity crowd thought the home team could win, they showed up and cheered them on. UCLA struck early and often on their way to a 42-14 win over Colorado, behind redshirt freshman quarterback Brett Hundley, who had two rushing touchdowns and a passing touchdown in the win.

September 8, 2012 - Sacramento State at Colorado

Despite holding a lead late into the fourth quarter, Colorado would lose in somewhat embarrassing fashion to Big Sky Conference "powerhouse" Sacramento State. Colorado made quarterback Garrett Safron look like a Division 1 stud. They'll want to forget this home loss. For me, it was mostly just a warm-up game, with no big players to shoot besides a few Colorado defenders. It was a big win for the Hornets and QB Mason Magleby, who held the ball on the game-winning field goal, made some good jube at the end.

April 14, 2012 - CU Spring Game

First time shooting the one-hour scrimmage that is open and free to the public. Nice little show, with a new featured quarterback, maybe the Golden Buffaloes will have a decent season.

February 26, 2012 - Cal at Colorado

I made the trip to Boulder for an afternoon basketball game - the last of the year for the surprisingly decent Buffaloes and their sophomore star Andre Roberson and four graduating seniors. For the second time in as many visits they upset the visiting team and give the home crowd a good game.

November 12, 2011 - Arizona at Colorado

Running back Tony Jones celebrates a nice TD catch & run. The Buffs would never trail the Wildcats. The final score was 48-29 for the home team.

Jon Major crushes an Arizona running back for a loss of yards.

Tyler Hansen with a TD reception from fellow senior running back Rodney Stewart for what would end up being the "winning touchdown."
