Opening day at Coors. This is a drinking event in Denver. The fans got what they would have hoped for in the win, and as a bonus, a surprising and awesome performance from the pitching staff. De La Rosa, Betancourt, and Rogers combined for a two-hit shutout. It was great to see the look on Esmil Rogers' face after he retired Adrian Gonzalez in the top of the 9th with a strikeout.

The Rockies beat the Padres 7-0 in the Coors Field home opener. De La Rosa struck out 9 in seven shutout innings to set a Rockies home opener strikeout record.
Esmil Rogers worked a 1-2-3 9th inning. Not a lot of pressure with the 7-0 lead, but a nice showing regardless.
Tulowitzki.
Car-go fast. Hitting .450 at this point and looking cool doing it.
Adrian Gonzalez looks frustrated after his first of 3 K's on the day.
Tulo doing a teammate a favor by signaling that a throw is coming to the plate. Didn't matter...
